IB Learner Reflection
TOK Reflection
CAS Relection
After extensive research and experience, the  American philosopher, psychologist, and educational reformer John Dewey concluded: “We do not learn from experience … we learn from reflecting on experience.”
Reflection is a fundamental aspect of the IB Learner Profile and a key value as part of St Julians pedagogy. As such, it will be a huge part of your time in Granada.
You will be expected to take part in a reflective session every evening of the trip, some shared with your form group and form leader, some privately on your own. Whilst engaged in this process, you should be thinking of the city and your place within it.

There will be three strands to your reflection whilst in Granada:
One: IB Learner Profile
You will largely be discussing this in your groups regarding experiences you have had during the day. You will also be completing a record of your experiences via a Google Form

Two: TOK Journal and Assignment
You should be updating your TOK 'travel' journal whilst on the trip to record the Real Life Situations and experiences you are taking part in. You will also begin to think about your TOK Assignment One which you will be generating ideas for. You should discuss ideas with a TOK teacher to see if they can give any guidance.

Three: CAS Blog
You should be begin to write entries for your CAS blog whilst on the trip, especially regarding the Activity that you will be doing around Quéntar and the Camino Mozárabe to Granada.
